When the sky falls and breaks into a million pieces
Hot and cold, blue and gold, a story is told
When the sun breaks and swallows all it made
What will it matter, what you said, and what you did, when you are dead
Fate is on its knees
So you should try again, again, again
Until you understand this idea and purpose;
That the path to resplendence is not a straight line but a fucking spiral!
And you'll always return to the ground upon which you once stood
And your bare feet will feel the truth on familiar soils
You are not here simply to witness
Your footsteps carve a path eternal
And even when you are long gone in the great blackness
Your memory will be retrieved by another not unlike you
So rise my seed and do leave something behind
For your remembrance in consciousness is surely immortality
And when you do leave this layer of simulation
The next one will be home!
Some of the most incredible black metal I've heard, both amazingly creative while surprisingly traditional. Normally I'm not a fan of putting acoustic songs in metal albums, but in this case they are just too beautiful to do without. ganondox
